Assistant Finance Business Partner - Social & Web

We are looking for an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join the LAD group who will proactively support the business in its next phase of exciting growth. 

Work with and support the Finance Business Partners (FBPs) for both the Web and Social Video divisions of the business to provide stakeholders with high quality reporting, analysis and key insight to help drive business performance. The role is a great opportunity to join a fast paced, rapidly expanding Finance team supporting the timely delivery of business KPI`s.  The successful candidate will support the Finance Business Partners in the timely reporting of performance to all levels of the business, key analysis work, budget and forecasting responsibilities. 


What will you be doing? 

  • Assisting with the preparation of divisional annual budgets and weekly forecasting 
  • Help co-ordinate the production of daily/weekly/monthly KPIs and reporting packs
  • Support FBPs with producing key insight, analysis and narrative against the business KPI`s to help performance and identify opportunities
  • Work alongside the Web and Social Commercial & Operational teams on business opportunities 
  • Help implement new ways of working across all business functions 
  • Manage key financial data and subsequent systems
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of processes and procedure controls  
  • Working with the data team to help streamline data sources and reporting
  • Support the production of monthly financial reporting including P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Communicate and interpret Financial information to non-Finance staff 
  • Ad hoc commercial reporting and analysis


What do you need to have done before?

  • Part-qualified: CIMA/ACCA/ACA
  • Enthusiastic personality
  • Enjoys a fast paced environment and good at adapting to change
  • Business partnering/Commercial finance experience
  • Analytical & inquisitive nature 
  • Ability to work independently as well as in part of a team 
  • Proactive in challenging and finding better ways of working
  • Advanced Excel skills with a keen interest in systems/technology implementations and improvements
  • Able to manipulate and interpret large data sets

Must haves?

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA Part Qualified

All interviews are being conducted via Zoom until further notice however the role will be based in the Manchester office 2 days per week.
