The Research and Insights team sits as part of the fast-growing Data, Intelligence and Planning team at LADbible Group, and this opportunity is a new role within that team. The role will be helping inform all areas of the business, using both primary and secondary research to create clear insights.

We are a collaborative team and want someone to get stuck straight in to what we do. Working across the whole business, the projects are varied and therefore want someone who likes a flexible working culture across many topics and projects.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, strategic, curious individual who can think outside the box and has experience or an understanding about media channels and the role they play in a wider ecosystem. The individual should be interested in learning new methodologies especially in the behavioural and 1st party data space, or have experience in this already.

What will you be doing?

  • Work with marketing, content and sales teams to ensure that they accurately report how channels and content are performing, and give clear insights into the audiences across the portfolio
  • Work with client teams on commercial brief responses, leading on how insight is part of campaign idea and strategy
  • Play a strategic role when collaborating with teams on commercial responses to brief

  • Lead on effectiveness research of the campaign performance
  • Lead on bigger research projects for key categories
  • Develop ad hoc research for different internal teams and external clients dependent upon the scope of the brief,
  • Proactively look for ways to support areas of the business with the teams’ capabilities
  • Manage junior members of the team, and working and supporting others on project work
  • Work with the wider Data, Intelligence and Planning Team, including Data Science, Analytics and Paid Media to support and further inform the insight we produce

What do you need to have?

  • Strong communication skills when turning data into strategic insights as opposed to just presenting raw data
  • Experience with line managing a team
  • Understanding of the role that media channels play in the wider ecosystem
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced role
  • Experience working in media, either at a media owner or agency – or with other media experience linked to a research agency role is essential
  • Familiarity with either TGI, GWI or YouGov data tools and Facebook Insights/Google Analytics/ Crowdtangle
  • Some experience with social listening platforms or techniques such as Brandwatch and 1st party behavioural data is a bonus
  • Experience working with analytics and data science teams is a bonus

 

All interviews are being conducted via Zoom until further notice however the role will be based in the London/Manchester office 2 days per week.
