Senior Marketing Manager

To support LADbible Australia’s journey to date and ambitious goals, we are looking for a marketing professional who will work across both commercial and editorial teams to create and execute our audience-first marketing strategy. This includes developing and formulating marketing materials, co-ordinating events and being the lead on building LADbible Group’s presence within APAC.

This role will be the first Marketing & Communications hire within LADbible Australia, and as such will involve working closely with and supporting all of our internal teams including: Content, Sales, Originals, Projects, Products and Data and Intelligence.

What will you be doing?

  • Deliver and develop commercial marketing materials for use across our Commercial teams
  • Work closely with the wider Marketing & Communications team based in the UK to support LADbible Australia’s ambition, specifically around tent pole projects and activations
  • Ownership of the awards process, strategy and reporting throughout the business
  • Ownership of all internal reporting/sharing documents
  • Work closely with LADbible Australia’s leadership team to secure industry speaking opportunities
  • Support the Commercial team in the development and execution of LADbible Australia’s client events
  • Work closely with the Content and Originals teams to showcase LADbible Australia’s best work and achievements

What do you need to have done before?

  • Experience in marketing or business development either from a media agency or publisher background
  • Demonstrate a combination of strategic and commercially-focused attributes, able to prioritize effectively and communicate clearly and persuasively
  • Creative, the ideal candidate should demonstrate a creative flare across all projects
  • A track record of success working both independently and with a variety of stakeholders to deliver projects
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media
  • Finger on the pulse in key sectors for LADbible Group, notably culture, media and social
  • The ability to translate strategic insights into practical opportunities
  • Excellent written capabilities
  • A solid understanding of youth culture and knowledge of the youth content space
