LADbible Group is a world leading multi-media publisher for young people, sharing news, entertainment, original content and real-life stories to our global audiences. Our mission is pretty straightforward: we aim to give young people aged between 18-34 a voice by building communities that laugh, think and act, across our platforms  

Our communities now have 140 million followers worldwide, across our nine brands and LADbible is the 7th most-visited website in the UK [Alexa UK Rankings]. We don’t think youth audiences are hard to reach, you just have to tell them the stories they care about and amplify the ones they tell you.

We are a growing company and we are on the search for new creatives to help us to continue to grow. We want to find talented, passionate people who reflect our diverse global audience to join our Video and Content Teams – with a variety of roles available at different levels across our LADbible, UNILAD, SPORTbible & Tyla brands in Manchester, London, Dublin & Sydney!

Challenge One – LAD Tales

At LADbible Group, our mission is to give all young people a voice and share stories that are not usually heard. Our audience love hearing about people overcoming adversity, conspiracy theories, interesting facts and genuinely engrossing topics.

If you are passionate about storytelling and want to help us share stories to our 140 million followers, we would love to hear from you about a tale that has yet to be told.

Send us a video (3 minutes plus) about a story that you think others would want to hear about. You could present it in front of camera, from behind the scenes or using footage; whichever you think works best. Our only requirements are that it must be an original idea and something that you think would win the heart of the LADbible Group audiences. This video can be for any of our brands across LADbible Group including LADbible, LADbible Australia, LADbible Ireland, UNILAD, SPORTbible & Tyla.

At LADbible Group, we use Premiere Pro for video editing but are open to whatever tool you have available. Don’t worry about copyrights, the video won’t be shared externally so if you’d like to use existing content to help tell your story then that’s ok; we only insist that you reference its source.

Challenge Two – LAD Tweets

Our audience have a great sense of humour & Twitter is often the place for short & sharp comments that can make someone’s day that little bit better.

We would like you to send us five Tweet ideas that you think the LADbible Group audience will love and have the potential to go viral. These tweets can be for any of our brands across LADbible Group including LADbible, LADbible Australia, LADbible Ireland, UNILAD, SPORTbible & Tyla.

HOW TO APPLY - Please submit a word document in application to this role with your five recommended tweets alongside detail on which brand you think they work for and why with the hashtag #LADTweets. Our content teams will review all submissions and our Talent teams will keep you updated on whether your application is of interest to them.


Challenge Three – LAD Growth

LADbible Group has had great success bringing communities together through our Facebook Groups – examples include Netflix Bangers, Isolation Nation & Try This. We have internal teams who manage these groups; creating content, organising activities and growing the communities.

In this challenge, we are looking for you to create the next big community group that our audiences will love. We want you to launch your very own Facebook Group with a specific target audience in mind.

To get noticed you will need to have grown your group to at least 1,500 people by posting engaging content and creating a strong ethos that brings your new community together.

HOW TO APPLY - Please submit a word document in application to this role with the group URL using #LADGrowth. The word document should include detail on how you grew this community group and how you would grow it further. Our content teams will review all submissions and our Talent teams will keep you updated on whether your application is of interest to them.

 

Challenge Four – LAD Challenge

At LADbible Group we are dedicated to providing young people with the essential tools and skills to make well-informed life decisions on the topics that really matter in their lives. Through our mission to build communities that laugh, think and act we have created award-winning campaigns including UOKM8, Blood Without Bias and Trash Isles.

Using these campaigns as inspiration, we would like you to come up with a trending challenge that would get our audience to laugh, think & act about a topic that you think needs to be given a platform.

HOW TO APPLY - To get our attention please create your challenge and post it on either TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or Twitter using the Hashtag #LADbiblechallenge. Our content teams will review all submissions and our Talent teams will keep you updated on whether your application is of interest to them.
