About the Role
LADbible Group is building a dedicated creative unit to supercharge our sport output in the run-up to the World Cup and across major sporting moments in 2025. This team will define the ideas, tone, and energy we bring to the biggest year in sport.
We’re looking for an Associate Creative Director who thrives on pace, lives in sport culture and knows how to turn fan energy into standout social-first ideas. You’ll set the creative vision, lead daily ideation and guide a team to deliver content that fans actually care about.
You’ll report directly to the Executive Creative Director and the Creative Director, serving as the creative lead on all sport output throughout the tournament period.
What the opportunity looks like
Set the creative agenda for LADbible’s sport coverage in a landmark World Cup year, shaping how we speak to fans across platforms.
Lead idea generation for daily content, reactive moments, hero films, social series and everything in between.
Steer creative across formats, from fast-turnaround clips to interviews, memes, stunts and cultural storytelling
Work closely with producers, editors, creators and talent to deliver work that is sharp, fast and culturally alive.
Partner with clients and stakeholders to turn briefs into strong creative and present work with confidence and clarity.
Mentor and guide the creative team, ensuring every idea and execution hits the standard.
Support production with script refinement, shoot direction and edit notes to ensure ideas land with impact.Stay on top of sport narratives, fan behaviour and platform trends, spotting opportunities to move quickly and own moments.
Skills and experience we'd like you to have
Experience at ACD level within a social-first, sport or content-led environment.
A portfolio that shows strong taste, original thinking and a deep understanding of social video.
Proven ability to lead creative across short-form video, reactive formats and multi-part content ideas.
Confidence in shaping and selling ideas, from fast turnaround reactive content to bigger hero concepts.
Comfort working across multidisciplinary teams and managing projects from idea to delivery.
A strong understanding of fan culture, sporting narratives and how audiences behave around major events.Excellent writing and conceptual clarity, able to turn sparks into sharp, platform-ready ideas.
A balance of strategic mindset and hands-on creative instincts.
You’ll help set the creative tone for one of the biggest sporting years of the decade. You’ll lead a high-energy team, shape new formats and deliver ideas that reach millions across some of the largest social channels in the country.
