Senior Finance Business Partner
Here at LAD, we are on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join our talented finance team based here in Manchester.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with various departments across the organisation, providing financial leadership, analysis, and insights to drive business performance and growth. As a trusted advisor, you will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and maximising operational efficiency.

What will you be doing?
- Own and seek continuous improvement of all daily, weekly and monthly reporting for the Indirect division.
- Production of the weekly P&L forecast for the Indirect division working collaboratively with key stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis including scenario modelling to support decision-making and performance evaluation.
- Build strong relationships with key senior stakeholders across the organisation, serving as a proactive advisor on financial matters. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities, address challenges, and drive operational excellence.
- Lead the annual budgeting and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process for the Indirect division. Monitor budget performance, analyse variances, and provide strategic guidance to optimise resource allocation.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and drive accountability. Develop reporting mechanisms to monitor progress, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, assessing their potential impact on business operations and help provide solutions to mitigate these.
- Continuously evaluate financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Champion initiatives to automate tasks, and drive improvements within the finance function.
- Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to help development and growth as well as maximise team performance.
Qualifications:
- Fully-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with proven experience in a finance business or senior finance business partnering role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends and insights.
- High level of work organisation, self-motivation, drive for performance and improvement, and flexibility in approach and attitude.
- High level of integrity, strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and pursuit for absolute accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Proactive and resilient individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and modelling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strategic mindset with a track record of driving business results through financial leadership and collaboration.
- Commercial acumen and a strong understanding of business operations and drivers.
