We are looking for a social genius to work across our Instagram and TikTok channels. As a Channel Manager, you’ll be responsible for executing a truly unique social strategy, working closely with the Editorial and Video teams to create signature LADbible Group content. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for managing the output of the designated LADbible Group Instagram and/or TikTok channel.
Working within a small team, you’ll spend your days creating original features, spotting viral trends and delivering our daily content to a global audience. Come prepared with regular news and feature ideas, an insatiable appetite for social storytelling and viral content, and a seriously proactive work ethic.
What the opportunity looks like...
- Implementing LADbible Group’s tone and position within the platforms; developing and executing original formats and content ideas.
- Using analytics not just for reporting but also to inform content choices and formats.
- Overseeing content schedule on Instagram.
- Targeting wider audiences on Instagram
- Working closely with the team and fellow Channel Managers to create and curate content for LADbible Group’s Instagram feeds and Instagram Stories.
Creating and executing both long and short term growth strategies on Instagram.
Skills and experience we’d like you to have
- Experience managing highly conceptual creative content for Instagram suitable for a youth audience.
- A working knowledge of Instagram and proven track record of growing social channels.
- Digital journalist who can think visually, with a background in news and viral content.
- A passion for US culture.
- A keen storyteller inherently tuned in to the interests and passions of 16-34-year-olds.
- A basic understanding of media law.
- An understanding on how to audience analysis, able to tailor content to a range of demographics.
- Experience within publishing and/or branded content.
- Impeccable communication skills - both written and verbal.
Adobe Suite (Photoshop, After Effects) knowledge and video editing experience not essential but a bonus.
