Research and Insight Lead

Role
We are looking for a Lead for our Insight offering to supercharge our insight offering and delivering, by leading the team by example and leading conversations with clients. This role sits within the Insight and Effectiveness unit at LADbible Group, reporting into the Head of Department.
We are looking for someone enthusiastic, strategic and proactive, who can spot opportunities in data and insights, both from a storytelling insight POV and also to identify how we fill the insight gaps we need. We need to someone to ensure we are delivering place best in class insights to grow our business, as well as happy to get stuck into the day to day in a small team.
What the opportunity looks like
- Work with different teams across the business (predominantly commercial) to understand and respond to insight questions
- Work with client teams on commercial brief responses, leading on how insight is part of campaign idea and strategy
- Play a strategic role when collaborating with teams on commercial responses to brief
- Be the lead on any insight or effectiveness research, being key client contact and, managing timelines, budgets and ensuring high quality outputs
- Develop ad hoc research for different internal teams and external clients dependent upon the scope of the brief
- Proactively look for ways to support areas of the business with the teams’ capabilities
- Manage the team, and working and supporting others on project work as well as overall upskilling for research outputs
- Be a senior go to in the team, to support on team efficiencies, strategies and plans, and bringing the right people in at the right time
Skills and experience we’d like you to have
- Experience working in media, either at a media owner or agency – or with other media experience linked to a research agency role is essential, with an understanding of the role that media channels play in the wider ecosystem
- Strong communication skills when turning data into strategic insights as opposed to just presenting raw data
- Experience with line managing a team and demonstrated stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced role
- Familiarity with either TGI, GWI or YouGov data tools and Facebook Insights/Google Analytics/ Crowdtangle
- Some experience with social listening platforms or techniques such as Brandwatch and 1st party behavioural data is a bonus
